** FYI:

Kālua is a traditional Hawaiian cooking method that utilizes an imu, or underground oven. The word kālua literally means “to cook in an underground oven” and also describes the flavor of food cooked in this manner – e.g. the kālua pig (Hawaiian puaa kālua) which is commonly served at luau feasts. (from wikipedia.com)

In your Crock Pot:

5lb Turkey Breast, deboned

splash or 2 of Liquid Smoke

2 tbsp Grapeseed oil

1 med sliced onion

1 minced clove garlic

sea salt to taste

cook all day on medium while you work/shop/crossfit

when you get done add 1/2 or 1 small head of cabbage chopped, season with coarse ground black pepper, a dash of cumin and cook till you think its ready (depends on how well done you prefer your cabbage)
